Lesson learned
While on vacation in early February last year. My family and I went out to eat a restaurant. We sat down and started to eat, when a men walk in the door. The man was homeless and didn't have a lot of money. He sat down next to us with no food. My mom felt sorry for him so she bought him lunch, and we sat there and had a conversation with while we was there. I thought to my self no one should have to live like that. My mother told me if you see someone in need you can help, you should always do so.

Commas and semicolons
My father had left our house in the midst of a fight, between Lindsey and my mother. My mother was trying to get Lindsey to go with her to the Y to swim. Without thinking, Lindsey had blared, "I'd rather die!" at the top of her lungs. My father watched ,as my mother froze, then burst fleeing to their bedroom to wail behind the door. He quietly tucked his notebook in his jacket pocket, took the car keys off the hook by the back door, and snuck out.

Story Spinners: option 1
My friend dirt was paying the old man no attention while ridding his bicycle. Dirt was carrying around a old key his dad had gave him. The old man asked to see the key dirt was holding in his hand. Dirt told the old man no he was very precise about who he let see the key. Well heck i was his best friend and he only let me see it once.
While Dirt and the old man were talking about the key. They started yelling at each other. Dirt took off on his bicycle, so we all did the same and went to my house. When we got there Dirt notice his key was gone. We look around the whole neighborhood with my flashlight that night, but we never found Dirt's key he says the old man took it but we may never know.
